Better times ahead…

It’s been a challenging 12 months for very many business – not least for those, such as Land & Marine, that are closely associated with the hard-hit tourism and airline sectors.

But even before these two key sectors slowly recover, as they surely will, Land & Marine has been busy implementing a strategic diversification policy that is now bearing fruit as the company takes on magazine contracts in some new (and even in some legacy) business sectors.

So please watch out over the coming months as we launch new magazines, for major new clients in new (for us) areas. It’s going to be exciting.

Nathan Dundas

 

We are deeply saddened to learn of the untimely passing of Nathan Dundas and send our condolences to all his family and friends. Nathan, who was general manager of Antigua’s Bryson’s Shipping and president of the Antigua & Barbuda Cruise Tourism Association (ABCTA), was a regular and passionate contributor to Caribbean Maritime magazine.

Lindsaye Nunn

Land & Marine’s former receptionist and credit controller, Lindsaye Nunn, has sadly died and the company wishes to pass on its sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Lindsaye, who spent much of her earlier life working alongside her husband on remote farms in both Argentina and Brazil, was employed at Land & Marine for 12 years and before retiring in November 2011. Lindsaye will be greatly missed.
