The sad news of the death of Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli came as we were putting the finishing touches to the magazine together and we have included a tribute to his achievements, which have brought great changes to the country. It’s been a challenging 12 months for very many business – not least for those, such as Land & Marine, that are closely associated with the hard-hit tourism and airline sectors.
But even before these two key sectors slowly recover, as they surely will, Land & Marine has been busy implementing a strategic diversification policy that is now bearing fruit as the company takes on magazine contracts in some new (and even in some legacy) business sectors.
