The latest edition of FLYafrica, the inflight magazine for Africa World Airlines (AWA), is now available to view online. There’s been a longer than usual wait for FLYafrica 8, with publication delayed due to uncertainty surrounding the Covid pandemic, but with Ghana leading the way in Africa in lifting flight restrictions and AWA gradually restoring its domestic flights, we are delighted to be back. Inside you’ll find a close-up look at the industry-leading safety and cleaning measures that have enabled AWA to return to the skies as well as the philanthropic ventures the airline has undertaken during lockdown. The long wait has given us the chance to find the very latest stories in West Africa to bring to our readers, including Ghana’s growing skateboarding scene and a ballet school in Lagos which has the support of Hollywood stars. We also have a trio of new columnists on board, sharing their expertise in life skills, beauty and yoga. Even if you are not on a flight soon, you can check out the magazine online now. Enjoy!
