Contract publishing

Tourism guides

Land & Marine specialises in producing promotional guides for many destinations worldwide, for both public and private sectors. Many of these guides are for hotel associations and tourism authorities across Africa, such as Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Botswana, Zambia and Tanzania, to name just a few. These guides provide information about hotels and locations that the country has to offer for businesses and potential holidaymakers. For example, the destination guide This is Botswana is published by Land & Marine on behalf of the Hospitality & Tourism Association of Botswana (HATAB), while the Kenya Hotel & Restaurant Guide is published on behalf of the Kenya Association of Hotel Keepers & Caterers (KAHC). In addition, we publish the KATO Accredited Safari Operators Guide on behalf of Kenya Association of Tour Operators (KATO).

In-room magazines

Land & Marine produces in-room magazines for leading hotel chains, including Reflections magazine for Mada Hotels, a hospitality company with hotels and ballooning operations across East Africa.

Maritime

Land & Marine specialises in maritime publishing. One of our longstanding clients is the Caribbean Shipping Association, whereby we publish their official journal, Caribbean Maritime, three times a year. Caribbean Maritime provides news, information and in-depth features on the maritime industry. As well as its subscribers, Caribbean Maritime is distributed to all delegates attending the Caribbean Shipping Association’s biannual conferences. The magazine is also mailed to, and read by, shipping associations, maritime companies, influential individuals and key decision-makers in the region, the wider Americas and Europe. You can subscribe to Caribbean Maritime magazine for free and receive the e-version of each issue on the day of publishing.

Our maritime publications also include port handbooks. Over the years we have published handbooks on behalf of African ports in Tanzania, Kenya and Ghana, as well as Zeeland Seaports in Europe and Panama Canal in South America. Land & Marine also produces publications closer to home, including The Port of Tilbury London handbook.

Inflight magazines

Land & Marine works for airlines around the world specialising in producing aviation publications such as inflight magazines. Our clients include Air Tanzania, Africa World Airlines in Ghana and PrecisionAir in Tanzania, as well as other forthcoming projects.

Websites and multimedia

Land & Marine designs websites for international clients including hosting, maintenance and content management. Land & Marine sets up websites and integrates social media to compliment any publication, as well as providing subscription management and multi-channel distribution. Some websites we have designed include Cruise Jamaica, This is Botswana for HATAB, Caribbean Maritime, Tanzania Container Terminal. Land & Marine have also developed a mobile app in support of The Uganda Tourism Board.

Design agency

Land & Marine designs various promotional media for many clients around the world in both public and private sectors. An example is Village Beat, a magazine published on behalf of Village Market, a shopping mall in Nairobi, Kenya. Other examples include a brochure for Kenyan hotel group Jacaranda Hotels, the Experience the Beauty of Malawi brochure for the Malawi Department of Tourism and a handbook published on behalf of Zambia Airports Corporation Limited.
